We cannot continue being Church only in a generic, "wholesale" way. The Jesus Whom we follow--spoke to multitudes, acted in public, died on the cross for all--also spoke to Nicodemus, the Samaritan woman, to a closely knit community of disciples (women and men); spent time with Martha, Mary, and Lazarus; and died for you and me.
Especially for us in the Philippine Church, we cannot welcome our 2021 jubilee only with grand celebrations involving crowds; you and I have to reach out to a disillusioned face, comfort a set of weary hands (and confront those which cause this weariness), and accompany a waiting heart as well.
